Create a professional, consistent offer in minutes. This guide walks you through each step of the offer form and what candidates will see.

What you’ll need

  • Candidate name and email
  • Target compensation and start date
  • Optional: benefits, equity, commission/bonus details

Good to know

Offers save as Unpublished until you choose to send them. You can edit anytime before acceptance.

Start a new offer

Open the offer form

From the Dashboard, click “Create Offer.” You’ll see the New Offer form with three tabs and a live preview:

Fill out Basic Info

Enter the candidate and role details (required fields are marked):
  • First Name, Last Name, Candidate Email
  • Role, Department, Location
  • Start Date, Offer Expires On
  • Reports To (optional), Welcome Message (optional)
If it’s your first offer, use Quick Start Template to pre‑fill realistic sample values. Then adjust as needed.
  • “First name is required”, “Role is required”, etc. for missing required fields
  • Email must be a valid address
Click “Next”.

Configure Compensation

Add base pay and any variable components:
  • Annual Salary and Currency
  • Payment Frequency: Weekly, Biweekly, Twice a Month, Monthly
  • Equity (optional): Stock Options or RSUs, Shares, Price(s), Vesting, Cliff
  • Variable Compensation / Commission (optional): type, targets, rate, frequency, accelerators
  • Bonuses (optional): Recurring or One‑time; Flat or Percentage; currency/frequency

Equity math

  • RSUs: Shares × Current Share Price
  • Stock Options: Shares × (Preferred Price − Strike Price)

OTE and pay mix

When you enter base salary and commission target, we estimate OTE and base/variable pay mix.
Click “Next to Benefits”.

Add Benefits (optional)

Add benefits one by one or Import from Templates. Drag and drop to reorder.
  • Keep names short and clear (e.g., “Medical PPO 90”)
  • Add a sentence on value or eligibility
  • Link or attach plan PDFs for details
Click “Save Offer”.
We’ll confirm creation and take you to the offer page. Status: Unpublished.

Live preview

The right‑hand summary updates instantly. If something looks off, switch back to that tab and adjust before saving.

After you save

  • Review the offer details on its page
  • Share or send the offer when you’re ready
  • You can edit the offer at any time before it’s accepted or expires

Tips for success

Complete required fields in Basic Info and Compensation. Benefits are optional.
Choose RSUs for share grants with no strike price; choose Options when a strike price applies.
If your company has valuation and outstanding shares entered, you can include ownership percentage in the letter.
Allow enough time for review and questions—avoid weekend deadlines.
Red messages under fields indicate what to fix. You may also see an alert summarizing issues.
